Details of the Job/Internship

Medanta is hiring a Legal Associate for its Gurgaon facility to manage litigation and legal documentation. The role involves drafting legal statements, affidavits, agreements, notices, handling civil and criminal cases, coordinating with external counsels, and providing legal consultancy to senior management.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and vet appeals, legal documents, deeds, agreements, notices, and miscellaneous applications.
• Prepare lawsuits, written statements, and replies filed in courts.
• Conduct due diligence and provide legal consultancy on various matters.
• Handle criminal and civil litigation matters.
• Ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective legal services for senior management.
• Assess legal issues and produce professional outcomes while adhering to guidelines.
• Select, supervise, and liaise with external counsels and law firms for litigation and risk management.
• Provide guidance on day-to-day legal matters related to company operations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (5-year program) or related field from a Tier-1 college.
• Experience in litigation management, legal document preparation, and risk management.
• Prior experience working in law firms or chambers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Leadership and management experience.

Salary/Stipend
