Details of the Job/Internship

Fast&Up India is hiring a Legal & Secretarial Compliance Manager with 6–8 years of experience to manage its legal, secretarial, and regulatory affairs.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and vet agreements related to manufacturing, supply, advertising, M&A, consultants, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance under the Companies Act, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and other applicable laws.
• Manage litigation, disputes, and regulatory investigations while maintaining compliance calendars.
• Advise management and the board on governance, risk management, and regulatory developments.
• Prepare and document board meetings, AGMs, statutory registers, and regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with related party transactions and corporate governance norms.
• Oversee trademark and IP portfolio management, including registration, renewal, and protection.
• Liaise with IP counsel for oppositions, notices, and infringement cases.
• Review advertising and product packaging to ensure regulatory and IP compliance.
• Conduct due diligence, highlight sector-specific risks, and manage SHA, SSA, and related documentation.
• Maintain alignment of all business activities with legal and internal compliance frameworks.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and external counsel for governance and compliance matters.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• 6–8 years of experience in legal and secretarial compliance within Nutrition, Pharma, FMCG, or D2C sectors.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, trademark registration, IP management, and compliance audits.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
