Details of the Job/Internship

boAt Lifestyle is hiring a Legal Manager with experience of 7+ years to join their office in Andheri, Mumbai

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all categories of litigation including civil, commercial, consumer, labour, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and vet pleadings, notices, and legal documentation.
• Coordinate and liaise with external counsels, law firms, and regulatory authorities for court representation.
• Maintain litigation trackers and MIS to provide regular updates to senior management.
• Ensure strict adherence to applicable laws, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
• Interpret and advise the business on emerging regulations such as Data Privacy, Consumer Protection, and E-Waste.
• Develop and implement internal compliance policies, SOPs, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed institute; an LLM degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7+ years of post-qualification experience specifically in litigation and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of commercial laws, litigation processes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven hands-on experience in managing compliance programs and litigation portfolios.
• Excellent drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to partner effectively with leadership, government agencies, and external stakeholders.
