Details of the Job/Internship
Frost & Sullivan is hiring a Manager – Legal with 5–6 years of experience to join its team in Chennai, supporting the Middle East and South Asia region. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial contracts, supporting business teams, and ensuring compliance with legal, risk, and governance standards across multiple jurisdictions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and maintain templates for client, vendor, independent contractor agreements, NDAs, and other contractual documents.
- Vet vendor, client, and independent contractor contracts for compliance with company policies and jurisdictional requirements across the MESA region.
- Provide legal support to sales and operations teams on contracts, NDAs, supplier codes of conduct, and business agreements.
- Review and validate insurance documentation and policies to ensure adequate coverage and compliance.
- Maintain and manage the contract repository, including tracking renewals, expirations, and amendments.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support contract renewals and effective contract lifecycle management.
- Support implementation of legal policies, risk management practices, and compliance frameworks.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and enhance contract management efficiency and accuracy.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent).
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal department or a reputed law firm.
- Experience in contract drafting, vetting, and negotiation across multiple jurisdictions, preferably within the MESA region.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract law, and corporate governance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
