Redington Limited is hiring for the position of Manager - Legal with 10 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Business Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements, including NDAs, MOUs, MSAs, SOWs, Supply & Distribution Agreements, and those related to digital transformation initiatives.
• Non-Business Contracts: Review agreements for various support functions (HR, IT, Admin, Finance, Secretarial, Compliance) and maintain a repository of standard form agreements.
• Provide contractual support to Redington’s APAC affiliates, ensuring consistency with global management guidelines and policies.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and address legal risks in business dealings, ensuring back-to-back agreements with partners, resellers, and subcontractors to minimize contractual risks.
• Compliance: Work closely with compliance teams to ensure all parties meet contractual obligations and rights.
• Contract Management Efficiency: Drive improvements in the contracting process across departments by implementing and managing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools to streamline workflows and enhance compliance.

Eligibility

• BL/LLB from a reputed university (LLM preferred but not mandatory).
• Up to 10 years of experience in a corporate legal department (preferably in IT, Hardware, IT Services, or IT Distribution), managing contracts from initiation to closure.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Contract law
  • Commercial laws
  • IT laws
  • Sale of goods and services
  • Consumer protection laws
• Experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools and contract negotiation.

Salary/Stipend
