Home Credit India is hiring a Manager - Litigation for its Gurugram, Haryana office.
Role and Responsibilities
Litigation Matters:
- Complete knowledge of Court Procedures in civil/ criminal cases & consumer forum procedures. Excellent knowledge of consumer protection laws, contract laws and arbitration laws in India.
- Drafting legal notices, petitions, rejoinders, affidavits, applications and other documents relating to court proceedings and replies to legal notices. Drafting of Police complaints/ FIR against internal/ external frauds as & when needed.
- Representing company before consumer forums, local authorities and mediations. Liaison with external lawyers and other depts. of company.
Contract Drafting
- Drafting of simple but closed-ended legal agreements, amendments etc. Agreements includea variety of service agreements, NDA, lease, leave & license, letter of intent, MOU, payment channels etc.
- Negotiating with confidence on legal terms and conditions with other parties and taking initiative in providingan acceptable solution while ensuring due protection of company interest.
- Projects, Research & Advisory
- Assisting in preparing processes and policies, launching new products/ loan offers/ customer/ dealer contests etc from legal & compliance perspective.
- Research and Advising on matters like contract laws, insurance laws, intellectual property laws, IT laws, property laws, registration laws, stamp duty provisions in India and dispute resolution process between parties in different countries.
