Details of the Job/Internship
Navi is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel – Debt Management with 5–7 years of experience to support debt management and litigation matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise senior stakeholders on legal strategies for optimising debt management processes.
- Ensure debt management processes are ethical, compliant, and scalable.
- Handle and resolve debt-related disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel.
- Conduct in-depth legal research to support litigation strategies and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal business, compliance, and legal teams to develop practical solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with external legal partners and regulatory bodies.
Eligibility
- Five to seven years of experience in litigation processes, civil procedure, and relevant Indian laws.
- Prior experience in debt management within banks, NBFCs, or asset reconstruction companies is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
