Details of the Job/Internship
Rotary International is hiring a Manager of Stewardship and Legal with 7+ years of management experience to join their South Asia and South-East Asia regional office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Implement and promote stewardship policies and good grant practices.
- Oversee timely reporting and audits of Rotary-funded grants.
- Investigate non-compliance allegations and ensure proper follow-up.
- Supervise regional stewardship staff and audit specialists.
- Support Rotary’s Cadre of Technical Advisers.
- Facilitate legal counsel and manage external legal support.
- Coordinate litigation, maintain legal records, and support legal processes.
- Ensure compliance with FCRA, CSR, Income Tax, GST, and labour laws.
- Provide legal assistance to Rotary International Infotech Pvt. Ltd.
- Monitor and support sub-licensee operations in Southeast Asia.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees in law or audit preferred.
- Minimum 7 years in a managerial role within a multicultural, international environment.
- Experience with international non-profits or member-based organizations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management and legal research skills required.
- Proficiency in English mandatory; knowledge of Hindi or Southeast Asian languages is an advantage.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
