Details of the Job/Internship

Rapido is hiring a Manager – Policy and Corporate Affairs with 4+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive public policy strategy to navigate challenges in the mobility sector.
• Engage with government bodies, regulators, and industry associations to advocate for favorable policy changes.
• Monitor and analyze legislative developments at central, state, and municipal levels to provide strategic insights.
• Draft position papers, policy briefs, and regulatory submissions for various government stakeholders.
• Ensure company compliance with transportation laws, urban mobility policies, and e-commerce regulations.
• Identify policy risks and collaborate with legal teams to develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Represent Rapido in industry forums and working groups to influence national and regional policy discussions.
• Lead crisis response strategies related to regulatory or policy hurdles impacting business operations.

Eligibility

• LL.B., LL.M., or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in policy advocacy, government relations, or regulatory affairs.
• Industry Preference: Experience in the mobility, transportation, logistics, or e-commerce sectors.
• Strong professional network within government agencies and policy think tanks.
• Deep understanding of Indian transportation regulations and urban mobility frameworks.
• Proven ability to execute stakeholder engagement plans and compliance roadmaps.
• Advantage: Prior experience in a tech-enabled startup or mobility company.
