Details of the Job/Internship

Rapido is hiring a Manager – Public Policy & Corporate Affairs to develop and implement policy strategies and manage government relations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute public policy strategies for the mobility sector.
• Engage with government bodies, regulators, and industry associations.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments at central, state, and municipal levels.
• Draft policy briefs, position papers, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure compliance with transportation and urban mobility regulations.
• Identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Represent the company in industry forums and working groups.
• Collaborate with PR, legal, and internal teams on policy alignment.
• Lead crisis response strategies related to regulatory challenges.
• Provide policy updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Eligibility

• LL.B., LL.M., or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in policy advocacy, government relations, regulatory affairs, or corporate affairs.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and urban mobility frameworks in India.
• Experience in drafting policy briefs and regulatory submissions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Prior experience in mobility, logistics, ecommerce, or tech-enabled startup preferred.
• Ability to manage complex regulatory landscapes and state-wise policy variations.
