Details of the Job/Internship
Rapido is hiring a Manager – Public Policy & Corporate Affairs with 4+ years of experience to join its office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public policy strategies for the mobility sector.
- Engage with government bodies, regulators, policymakers, and industry associations.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments at central, state, and municipal levels.
- Draft policy briefs, position papers, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure compliance with transportation laws, mobility policies, and e-commerce regulations.
- Identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Represent Rapido in industry forums and policy discussions.
- Coordinate with PR teams on public narratives related to urban mobility.
- Build partnerships with think tanks, advocacy groups, and academic institutions.
- Support CSR initiatives linked to sustainable urban transport.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align policy and business strategies.
- Lead crisis response related to regulatory and policy challenges.
Eligibility
- LL.B., LL.M., or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in policy advocacy, government relations, regulatory affairs, or corporate affairs.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and urban mobility policies in India.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
