Brickwork Ratings is hiring a Manager – Regulatory & Legal Compliance in Bengaluru with 8-10 years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance
- Interpret, track, and implement evolving regulatory requirements; assist the CCO in gap analysis and execution.
- Maintain and manage the Organizational Data Repository for regulatory documentation, reports, and dashboards.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities (SEBI, RBI, NSDL, etc.) and ensure timely submission of reports and disclosures.
- Monitor regulatory circulars and assist in their interpretation and organizational implementation.
- Ensure internal compliance with policies such as Staff Accountability, Code of Conduct, and Trading Policies; maintain documentary evidence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen and support a culture of compliance across departments.
- Legal Compliance
- Provide legal counsel on laws relevant to the credit rating/financial services industry.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure legal soundness and safeguard the organization's interests.
- Prepare legal responses and manage legal correspondence in the event of disputes or inquiries.
- Handle litigation matters independently, represent the organization in legal forums, and negotiate settlements as required.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Law or related domains are preferred.
- Certifications in Regulatory Compliance or Legal Risk Management will be an added advantage.
- Experience: 8–10 years.
