Details of the Job/Internship

Medanta is hiring for the position of Manager/Senior Manager - Legal with 8-12 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements, including but not limited to:
  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
  • Lease and Leave & License Agreements
  • Master Service Agreements
  • Manpower Agreements
  • Operation & Maintenance Agreements
  • Service Level Agreements
  • Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)

2. Banking & Financial Documentation

• Support the review and finalization of various banking documents such as:
  • Sanction letters
  • Loan agreements
  • Escrow arrangements

3. Specialized Legal Arrangements

• Provide legal support on:
  • Software licensing and AI development contracts
  • Real estate transactions
  • Related-party transactions
  • Employment and labor law matters
  • POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) compliance
  • CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) legalities

4. Transactional & Strategic Legal Work

• Contribute to a variety of corporate transactions, including:
  • Joint ventures and collaborations
  • Mergers & acquisitions
  • Shareholder and share purchase agreements
  • Operations and management agreements
  • Revenue-sharing arrangements
• Conduct legal due diligence and coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.

5. Stakeholder Engagement

• Independently engage with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external clients to:
  • Understand legal and business requirements
  • Address complex queries
• Ensure timely and efficient resolution of legal matters

Eligibility

Education:

• 5-year integrated law degree (LLB/LLM) from a reputed institution

Experience:

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in:
  • Corporate Law
  • Company Law
  • SEBI Regulations
  • Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
• Preferred: 2–3 years of experience at a reputed law firm

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
