Details of the Job/Internship

Simplilearn is looking for a candidate for the position of Manager / Senior Manager - Legal with 8 to 10 years of experience to join them at their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Litigation support for group companies on civil, criminal and applicable insurance issues.
• End to end handling including written statements drafting, settlement documentation [drafting appropriate response based on root cause analysis including managing the Adobe software for signing] for all Consumer Disputes.
• Litigation Management - track next hearing dates, manage weekly litigation update internally, coordinate for case documents with external counsels.
• Legal notices preparation & responses.
• Criminal, law & order, coordinating with police on consumer complaints or other contentious matters.
• Design legal solutions for ambiguous business areas, frauds, cheating, criminal breach of trust, POSH matters. 
• Cyber crime related reporting knowledge and process of complaining.
• Manage online reputation issues & mitigate risks.
• Preferably fluent in Kannada to engage with local police.
• Dealing with US litigation.
• Working experience in regulatory, compliance, secretarial matters.
• Design compliance process, ensure corporate governance.
• Pre IPO, due diligence work.
• Global compliance exposure is desired [not compulsory].
• Privacy Insurance areas.
• Setting up a compliance tracking framework and automation_ India, US and Singapore.
• Vendor contracts drafting & review.
• Fluent working experience with MS office, excel tracking, G-Suite.
• Prior experience of CLM or compliance tools, document repository is preferred.
• Automation mindset to maximize legal tools usage for ease of support.

Eligibility

8-10 years PQE with litigation & compliance background.

Salary/Stipend
