Details of the Job/Internship

UnitedLex is hiring a Manager – Trademark with 8+ years of experience to join its team in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft trademark applications and office action responses for filing in the US.
• Conduct comprehensive trademark clearance searches, including identical, phonetic, and common law searches.
• Manage global trademark portfolios and coordinate with law firms for drafting, filing, prosecution, and opposition.
• Manage paralegal and docketing activities across the trademark lifecycle.
• Review work products of junior team members.
• Mentor and train team members on trademark services.
• Support senior team members in day-to-day activities.
• Perform other related activities as required.

Eligibility

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Registered trademark agent is an advantage.
• LL.B. (Hons.) from a reputed law school is an advantage.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in trademark paralegal and docketing services.
• Experience in trademark application filing, prosecution, and oppositions.
• Strong understanding of US trademark laws.
• Experience with EP, India, and other jurisdictions is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Ability to resolve ambiguities and provide legal guidance.
• Strategic thinking to drive efficiencies and provide business solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with onsite and virtual global teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and related software programs.

Salary/Stipend
