Details of the Job/Internship

Bombay Chamber is hiring a middle management professional to lead and drive expert committees and forums. The role involves managing initiatives related to Legal & IPR, Taxation, and Governance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identify and establish advisory and core working committees.
• Build and maintain a network of corporates and subject-matter experts.
• Coordinate with Chairpersons, Co-Chairpersons, and key stakeholders.
• Support advocacy efforts with State and Central Governments, regulators, and institutions.
• Liaise with government bodies and regulators to advance committee initiatives.
• Promote initiatives through digital platforms and social media.
• Conduct research, market studies, and prepare representations.
• Organise webinars and events on relevant and topical issues.
• Engage with academic institutions to support committee activities.
• Generate sponsorships and funding for initiative sustainability.
• Prepare background papers, editorials, representations, and e-publications.
• Collaborate with other associations on joint initiatives.

Eligibility

• Graduate or Post Graduate in Law, preferably from a reputed institute.
• 5–10 years of industry experience.
• Experience in journalism or legal publications is an added advantage.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong networking and drafting capabilities.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
