Deendayal Port Authority is one of the Major Ports in the Country functioning under the administrative control of Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways. Prior to 2021, the Port was governed by the Major Ports Act 1964, however after 2021, the Major Port is governed by Major Ports Authorities Act 2021.

Details of the Job/Internship

Deendayal Port Authority is looking for a candidate for the position of Manager with 5 years of experience to join them at their office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Liaise with relevant department to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
• Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly.
• Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with the external lawyers etc.

Eligibility

• Degree in Law from a recognized National/International University.
• Master's degree in Corporate / Maritime Law from a recognized National/International University.
• Upper Age Limit: 40 years.
• 5 years work experience in Legal wing of Corporates.
• Experience in Port/Shipping Sector.
• Practicing experience as an Advocate.

Salary/Stipend

Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 1,20,000
