Details of the Job/Internship
Flipkart is looking for a candidate for the role of manager with 5 to 7 years of experience to join them at their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the antitrust compliance risk and controls framework.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compliance controls and procedures related to antitrust matters.
- Support the identification and implementation of risk mitigation strategies for antitrust compliance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, business, tech) to embed antitrust compliance controls into business processes.
- Stay current on antitrust laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the program remains aligned with best practices.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvements in the overall compliance program, ensuring that it remains robust and responsive to emerging antitrust risks.
- Execute the ongoing antitrust compliance training and awareness program tailored to the needs of various stakeholders across the organization (e.g., executives, business units, legal teams)
- Coordinate the delivery of regular training sessions, including in-person, virtual, and self-paced modules, to ensure all relevant employees are educated on antitrust risks and best practices.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments.
- Ensure that antitrust compliance materials are up-to-date and reflect the latest legal requirements, case law, and internal policies.
- Create and disseminate internal communications and awareness materials, including newsletters, posters, and emails, to keep antitrust compliance top-of-mind across the organization.
- Special Projects/Ad-hoc Requests – work on special projects/tasks as required from time to time.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in law, economics, finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in competition law, foreign direct investment law, regulatory compliance, or related fields. Experience in designing or managing antitrust or corporate compliance training programs is preferred.
- Understanding of antitrust laws and regulations (domestic and international) is a strong plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and collaborate with different departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with familiarity in learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy.
- Analytical thinking skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
