Borderless Access is hiring a Manager – Legal Function with 8–10 years of corporate legal experience to lead and oversee legal operations including compliance, contract management, litigation, and M&A legal support. The role involves working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure legal alignment across jurisdictions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provided legal guidance on corporate, commercial, employment, and data protection laws.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including GDPR.
- Tracked global legislative changes and managed corporate insurance policies.
- Develop and implement internal legal policies and frameworks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including MSAs and MoUs.
- Maintain a centralized contract repository and manage contract renewals.
- Conduct legal due diligence and provide support for M&A activities.
- Assist in negotiations and post-merger integration processes.
- Manage legal disputes, regulatory matters, and litigation proceedings.
- Represent the company in legal forums and proceedings as required.
- Collaborate with internal business teams and external legal partners.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry bodies on compliance matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
- 8–10 years of corporate legal experience.
- Prior work in ITES, tech, market research, or KPO industries preferred.
- Experience in managing a team (preferred).
