Details of the Job/Internship
Genedge Renewables Private Limited is hiring a Manager / Senior Manager – Land Legal with 6–12 years of experience in handling land legal matters specific to Gujarat.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct title due diligence and legal verification of private, government, and agricultural lands across Gujarat.
- Identify ownership issues, tenancy claims, and litigation risks; ensure legally clear title.
- Coordinate with land aggregators, intermediaries, and village-level contacts.
- Draft and negotiate legal documents including MoUs, Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, and Power of Attorneys.
- Oversee registration and mutation of land and ensure statutory compliance with Gujarat land laws.
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies for land approvals.
- Address disputes, encroachments, and legal objections.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel when needed.
Eligibility
- LLB / LLM from a reputed institution.
- 6–12 years of experience in land legal matters in Gujarat.
- Proficiency in Gujarati and understanding of local land records (7/12, 8A, mutation entries, etc.).
- Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel across Gujarat.
