Details of the Job/Internship

Krishna & Saurastri Associates LLP is hiring a Managing Associate / Principal Associate with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in IP litigation to join their Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle high-stakes IP litigation matters before courts and tribunals, with a focus on the Bombay High Court.
• Draft and review pleadings, rejoinders, written statements, legal notices, and other IP litigation documents.
• Conduct detailed legal research on case laws, statutes, and emerging IP issues.
• Appear before courts and assist in hearings, trials, and case management.
• Coordinate with senior counsels and prepare litigation strategies.
• Manage client communication and provide strategic legal advice.
• Lead and mentor junior associates and ensure timely, high-quality work.
• Collaborate with colleagues across branch offices on multi-jurisdictional matters.
• Travel across India for hearings, client meetings, and litigation requirements.
• Stay updated on legal developments and recent judgments in IP law.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed law school with strong academic performance.
• Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification experience in IP litigation.
• Proven experience in trademark infringement, passing off, and copyright disputes.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and research capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India and eligible to practice.
• Strong leadership skills, professionalism, and client service orientation.
