Details of the Job/Internship
KRIA Law is inviting applications for a commercial contracts associate to join their growing team at KRIA Law, Chennai a boutique law firm focused on intellectual property, technology law, and commercial advisory.
Role and Responsibilities
Drafting and reviewing of various forms of commercial contracts including:
- IP & technology agreements such as license, assignment, tech transfer, software agreements, website terms, e-commerce terms, platform agreements, data privacy etc).
- Transactional Agreements such as Franchise Agreements, vendor agreements, manufacturing agreements, outsourcing agreements, services agreements, consultant contracts, supply agreements, distribution agreements, strategic partnerships, NDA, etc.
- Client Consultations, Commercial Law advisory and IP strategy.
- General Corporate Advisory and Governance and drafting, review and negotiation of Corporate Transactional Agreements such as Shareholders’ Agreements, Share subscription Agreements, Memorandum of Association (MoA) and Articles of Association (AoA) agreements related to Compliance advisory.
Eligibility
- A legal professional with up to 7-8 years of PQE with experience in commercial drafting either at a reputed law firm or in-house team.
- Candidates with expertise in handling Technology and IP Agreements will be preferred.
