Details of the Job/Internship
Glean is hiring a Managing Commercial Counsel with over 12 years of legal experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the India Legal Team, including development planning and knowledge sharing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, vendor, channel, and data processing agreements.
- Provide strategic legal advice that balances risk with business goals.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, product, marketing, and security teams as a trusted legal advisor.
- Manage legal projects and priorities with minimal oversight.
- Address diverse legal needs to support rapid business growth.
Eligibility
- J.D. degree with active bar membership.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant legal experience, including in-house counsel roles.
- Proven management experience with legal teams.
- Strong experience in SaaS agreements and commercial contracts.
- Ability to balance legal risk with practical business decisions.
- Comfortable in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
