Atrangii is hiring a Media Lawyer with 3–7 years of relevant experience to join their Mumbai office full-time.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on media content across platforms (TV, film, print, digital, social).
- Draft and negotiate contracts: licensing, distribution, talent agreements, etc.
- Advise on IP matters: copyright, trademark, and image rights.
- Handle issues related to defamation, privacy, and reputation management.
- Ensure compliance with advertising and broadcasting regulations.
- Conduct pre-publication review and content clearance.
- Mitigate legal risks and stay updated on legal developments in the media sector.
- Liaise with external counsel when required.
Eligibility
- Law degree with a valid license to practice in India.
- 3–7 years of post-qualification experience in media law (in-house or law firm).
- Prior experience with content producers, publishers, studios, or digital platforms.
