Details of the Job/Internship

Acolad Group is hiring for the position of Medico-Legal Transcriptionist for EST hours with 2 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

Transcription & Editing

• Accurately transcribe voice-recorded medical reports (e.g., patient notes, correspondence) from healthcare professionals.
• Edit and proofread documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and correct use of medical terminology.
• Correct errors and discrepancies in audio-to-text transcription.

Compliance & Documentation

• Format documents according to client templates and standardized reporting formats.
• Handle sensitive patient information in line with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Use and refine outputs from speech recognition software.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with managers and fellow transcriptionists to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
• Coordinate effectively to support team productivity across different shifts.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or Editor.
• Certification or formal training in medical transcription (preferred).
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
• Experience with transcription platforms and tools.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work during U.S. Eastern Time Zone hours (night shifts in India).

Salary/Stipend
