Details of the Job/Internship

Nishith Desai Associates (NDA) is hiring for the position of Member - Technology Law Practice to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic legal advice on technology-related matters, including Blockchain, IoT, AI, VR, and emerging tech.
• Draft legal opinions, compliance documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Conduct advanced research on national and international technology laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Monitor legal and policy developments in the technology space and assess implications for clients.
• Collaborate across practice areas to support complex, multi-disciplinary client matters.
• Contribute to thought leadership through participation in research papers, articles, and knowledge-sharing forums.

Eligibility

• LL.B from a recognized institution; LL.M or specialization in Technology Law is an advantage.
• Demonstrated expertise in legal and regulatory issues related to emerging technologies.
• Exceptional research and analytical capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in drafting legal documents, policy notes, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, non-hierarchical, and innovation-driven environment.
• Awareness of Indian and international legal frameworks applicable to technology businesses.

Salary/Stipend
