Details of the Job/Internship
Nishith Desai Associates is hiring a Member – Technology Law Practice with 2–5 years of relevant experience to join their Mumbai or Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise multinational clients, startups, and regulators across tech law verticals.
- Draft and negotiate licensing, AI, content, and platform-related contracts.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and due diligence.
- Engage in public policy and regulatory advocacy.
- Contribute to legal research and publications on tech law.
- Advise on compliance under Indian and global data and tech laws.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or equivalent from a reputed law school.
- 2–5 years of experience in TMT, AI, cybersecurity, or gaming law.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with laws like the DPDP Act, GDPR, and gaming laws.
- Commercially sound, solution-oriented approach.
