SkillArbitrage is hiring a proactive and empathetic Student Success Coach with 2+ years of experience to join their remote team. The role involves managing student relationships, ensuring academic engagement, and supporting learner success. The ideal candidate will enhance student experience, improve retention, and drive learner outcomes through consistent communication, coaching, and collaboration.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct 250–300 minutes of daily calls using tools like Ozonetel and Calendly.
- Engage with students for check-ins, follow-ups, and session bookings.
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new students and guide them through platform features.
- Set clear expectations on learning objectives and outcomes.
- Carry out weekly follow-up calls to assess student progress and well-being.
- Identify and address academic, emotional, or logistical performance gaps.
- Design and implement tailored improvement plans to support student goals.
- Address concerns related to motivation, confidence, and time management.
- Celebrate student milestones and reinforce progress.
- Conduct time audits and coach students on improving productivity.
- Implement early intervention strategies to reduce dropouts and refunds.
- Handle student concerns and conflicts with empathy and problem-solving.
- Share regular updates with reporting managers and academic teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve escalations.
- Maintain documentation and ensure seamless communication across teams.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, English, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in student-facing roles, counseling, or educational support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a student-first mindset.
- Comfortable working with learning platforms and calling software.
- Empathetic listener with the ability to motivate and guide learners.
- Preferred: Prior experience in academic counseling and exposure to behavioral coaching, NLP, or time management techniques. Fluency in English and one or more Indian regional languages.
Salary/Stipend
25,000 to 40,000/- plus incentive (Performance and experience dependant)
