Details of the Job/Internship
DrinkPrime is hiring a Mid-Senior Legal Associate with experience of 5–8 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Understand the business needs and drive the legal aspects of all business initiatives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of agreements and documents, including shareholder agreements, subscription agreements, term sheets, employment contracts, HR policies, and ESOP documentation.
- Draft vendor, service, and SaaS agreements, IP licensing, assignment, and NDAs.
- Draft debenture agreements, and other investment instruments, lease deeds, data processing agreements, and MOUs.
- Provide legal advisory support to internal teams including procurement, HR, operations, and business development.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act, labor and employment laws, IP and data privacy laws, and environmental and sectoral regulations.
- Liaise with external counsel on litigation, dispute resolution, and niche legal matters.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a reputed institution. (LL.M. is a plus).
- 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure.
- Strong communication, legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in startup or corporate legal environments is desirable.
- Proficiency in corporate law, commercial contracts, labor laws, IP, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and balance legal risk with business objectives.
