The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, established in 2005 by the Kerala State Legislature, is a preeminent institution recognised for its excellence in legal education. The NUALS ADR Society was established to equip students with essential skills and foundational knowledge in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods, including arbitration, negotiation, mediation, and conciliation. Recognizing the vital role of ADR in ensuring efficient and amicable dispute resolution, the society aims to promote ..active participation in renowned national and international competitions and development programmes.

Details of the Conference/Seminar

The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, in collaboration with the ADR Society of NUALS, presents its International Seminar on ADR in Frontier Domains: Digital Economies, Global Governance, and Technological Futures. This seminar aims to explore the expanding role of Alternative Dispute Resolution in emerging sectors shaped by rapid technological progress, evolving international regulatory structures, and new patterns of global interaction.

Submission Guidelines

Authors are required to submit their abstracts with proof of payment and cover letter by 11:59 PM, 1st January 2025. The notification of acceptance will be sent accordingly.

Authors are required to pay the full amount and register by 11:59 PM, 31 December 2025 and submit their full papers by 11:59 PM, 23 January 2025.

Authors are required to submit a declaration alongside the final paper, affirming that their work is original, unpublished, and free from copyright violations. The organising committee holds no liability for any copyright infringements, and any such violation may lead to the disqualification of the paper at any stage.

Authors must strictly adhere to these guidelines and the timeframes mentioned in the brochure, failing which their submissions will not be entertained.

Awards

• Best Paper: ₹10,000.
• Second Best Paper: ₹8,500.
• Third Best Paper: ₹6,500.
