Hike is hiring for the position of Nodal Officer with experience of 2-4 years to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance:
- Act as the primary point of contact with police departments and other law enforcement agencies, including appearing in front of authorities as required.
- Coordinate and liaise with the Cyber Crime Cell to handle cyber-related issues such as fraud, hacking, and phishing complaints.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable data protection, gaming laws, regulations, and policies.
- Monitor and implement updates on relevant legal and regulatory changes.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure prompt and effective responses to legal notices, FIRs, or other inquiries from authorities by collaborating with technical teams to retrieve and submit evidence or data.
- Handle KYC, AML, and data protection requirements as mandated by regulators.
- Conduct regular audits of internal processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams (legal, operations, finance, and technology) to ensure compliance across all functions.
- Work with external legal counsel or consultants as needed.
- Update stakeholders on any regulatory changes that impact business operations.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain a repository of all correspondence with authorities and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance reports, regulatory filings, and documentation.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding compliance risks and mitigation strategies.
Eligibility
- An LLB graduate having 2-4 years of experience in compliance, legal operations, or regulatory liaison roles, preferably in the gaming or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of gaming laws, cyber laws, taxation, and regulatory frameworks in India.
- Awareness of data protection and privacy laws.
- Familiarity with compliance software tools, MS Office, and other regulatory systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and implement corrective measures, and more.
