Details of the Job/Internship
Rondesse Legal is hiring an Of Counsel Lawyer to support matters originating in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the India-based legal representative for cases within the lawyer’s area of expertise.
- Handle litigation or legal actions where appropriate and mutually agreed upon.
- Represent clients and coordinate case strategy when required.
- Travel for court appearances or case-related matters when necessary.
- Identify and introduce qualified Indian lawyers or law firms when matters fall outside the lawyer’s specialization.
- Assist with initial coordination and handover to the selected counsel.
- Maintain oversight, where appropriate, to ensure smooth collaboration between parties.
Eligibility
- Licensed attorney in India in good standing.
- Litigation or dispute resolution experience is preferred.
- Strong professional network within the Indian legal community.
- Ability to travel domestically when required.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working with international clients or cross-border matters is preferred.
- Familiarity with fraud, financial disputes, or complex investigations is an advantage.
