Details of the Job/Internship
The Law Office of Avish Malhotra is offering a Paid Internship for motivated law students at their Chandigarh office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including demand letters and motions for U.S.-based clients.
- Conduct detailed document reviews to identify key legal facts and evidence.
- Perform exhaustive legal research on U.S. and Indian statutes and case laws.
- Support the "Draftify" team in preparing virtual paralegal deliverables.
- Organize and manage case files and evidentiary records for international law firm partners.
- Collaborate with senior associates to refine legal arguments and drafting precision.
- Gain exposure to the administrative and technical aspects of running a global LPO service.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a recognized Law degree program (LL.B. or Integrated LL.B.).
- Strong foundational skills in legal drafting and technical writing.
- Proficiency in legal research using global and domestic databases.
- High attention to detail and a keen interest in U.S. legal procedures.
- Eagerness to learn the nuances of the Virtual Paralegal and Outsourcing industry.
- Ability to work in-person from the office located in Sector 35, Chandigarh.
