Details of the Job/Internship
Optimus Lex Law Offices is hiring a Legal Intern to join their office for a period of 6 months.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on various statutes, case laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Assist in the drafting of petitions, applications, legal notices, and commercial agreements.
- Prepare comprehensive case briefs and internal memorandums for senior associates.
- Manage independent legal assignments and ensure timely submission of all deliverables.
- Participate in a drafting assessment round as part of the rigorous selection process.
- Support the firm's litigation and advisory teams in day-to-day legal operations.
- Maintain organized digital case files and stay updated on recent judicial precedents.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a recognized Law degree program (LLB).
- Strong skills in legal drafting and comprehensive legal research.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to professional deadlines.
- Prior experience in drafting is highly preferred.
- Must provide drafting samples in PDF format with the application (Mandatory).
- Availability for a 6-month commitment starting immediately.
