Details of the Job/Internship

nfra Legal is hiring a Para Legal with a strong foundation in legal documentation to join their team in Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist advocates in the precise drafting of legal documents, including Sale Deeds, Gift Deeds, and Lease Agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive Title Search Reports to verify ownership history and identify any encumbrances on properties.
• Vet and review complex legal documents to ensure they meet statutory requirements and protect client interests.
• Provide general administrative and legal support, including maintaining case files and organizing legal paperwork.
• Coordinate with advocates to ensure that all deeds and reports are prepared according to the latest local regulations in West Bengal.
• Utilize MS Word and Excel for the efficient management of legal databases and document formatting.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal training.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is mandatory.
• Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of title search procedures and legal documentation/deeds.
• Experience: Prior experience in a law firm or a similar legal environment is preferred.
• Competencies: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and good communication/coordination abilities.
