Details of the Job/Internship
KBR, Inc. is hiring a Paralegal – Litigation / Labor & Employment to join their Gurgaon office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate responses to U.S. third-party subpoenas.
- Review subpoena scope and collect responsive documents.
- Prepare redactions, confidentiality checks, and response packets.
- Maintain tracking logs for subpoenas, deadlines, and responses.
- Assist with legal hold administration, eDiscovery data collection, and reporting.
- Communicate with U.S.-based attorneys, paralegals, and HR partners.
- Manage service of process distribution and perform other administrative legal duties.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent; U.S. legal education/certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in legal support, litigation, or document review.
- Strong understanding of U.S. litigation processes, particularly subpoenas and records requests.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and document review tools such as Purview or Relativity.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to coordinate with U.S. time zones and handle sensitive matters independently.
