Details of the Job/Internship
Pattern® is hiring a Paralegal Analyst with experience of 2+ years to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, filing, and maintaining trademark, copyright, and design applications and renewals globally.
- Coordinate collection of specimens and usage evidence for trademark filings.
- Monitor deadlines and manage IP docketing systems for filings and renewals.
- Proofread invention intake forms, declarations, and assignments.
- Coordinate signatures, notarizations, and execution of legal documents.
- Prepare IP portfolio status reports and docket summaries.
- Conduct preliminary trademark searches and assist with enforcement actions.
- Assist in preparing Information Disclosure Statements and reference lists.
- Coordinate with inventors, local counsel, and international associates.
- Maintain organised IP files and update digital records.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and cost management related to IP filings.
- Support legal and compliance processes, including contract management.
- Schedule and prepare materials for legal meetings and calls.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and ad-hoc legal projects.
- Perform additional administrative tasks to support legal operations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an IP Paralegal or legal administrative support professional.
- Familiarity with trademark and copyright processes in India and internationally.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and document management tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with IP docketing software is preferred.
- Experience supporting in-house legal teams is preferred.
