eBay is hiring a Paralegal – Commercial Contracts with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and negotiate contracts including amendments, statements of work, renewals, non-disclosure agreements, and service agreements.
- Mitigate legal risks while aligning with business objectives.
- Create and maintain standardized templates, playbooks, guidelines, and checklists.
- Prepare contract summaries and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with contract administrators to analyze and assign contracts based on risk and support functions.
- Train business partners on the contracts submission process.
- Work closely with legal colleagues to develop and implement contracting policies and procedures.
- Assist with legal research, special projects, and other assigned duties.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) or Diploma in Paralegal Practice; Paralegal Certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal, contracts specialist, or legal associate in a multinational company or law firm.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google applications, and legal software.
- Experience with legal technology solutions (e.g., contract management systems, DocuSign).
- Familiarity with AI systems in legal work.
- Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work across time zones and on diverse projects.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives and global teams.
