Details of the Job/Internship
Insight is hiring a Paralegal with experience of 1–2 years to support its legal and compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet agreements including vendor, supplier, lease, and NDA contracts.
- Ensure contracts align with company policies and maintain a contract repository.
- Assist in drafting legal notices, replies, and internal documentation.
- Maintain records of legal correspondences and prepare summaries.
- Liaise with government authorities such as Factory Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board, Labour Department, and GST authorities.
- Assist in compliance with Companies Act, labour laws, environmental laws, and Factory Act.
- Maintain compliance trackers and support audits.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and track legal matters.
- Assist in litigation support, case documentation, and hearing schedules.
- Conduct legal research and support risk assessment and policy drafting.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or legal qualification preferred.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or corporate environment.
- Knowledge of Indian corporate, labour, and industrial laws.
- Strong drafting, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in compliance and contract management is preferred.
