Honeywell is hiring for the position of Paralegal to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design project scope and define Statements of Work (SOW).
• Execute IP projects with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct patent searches, classifications, and competitive intelligence.
• Support and manage patent prosecution processes (US, EP, India).
• Draft and file patent applications in coordination with technical and legal teams.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to align IP strategy.
• Leverage product and technology knowledge to strengthen IP portfolios.
• Analyze and present key observations using data analytics and visualization tools.
• Engage in patent portfolio management, including monitoring and reporting.

Eligibility

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Law, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in R&D, patent analytics, prosecution, or related IP functions.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of global patent systems (USPTO, EPO, Indian Patent Office).
• Experience in IP tools and databases for search and analysis.
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate technical concepts.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Critical thinking and the ability to synthesize disparate information into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Salary/Stipend
