Details of the Job/Internship

Weightmans is hiring a Paralegal to join its Large Loss team in Liverpool. The team manages catastrophic personal injury claims typically reserved over £350,000, including brain, spinal, amputation and substantial dependency fatality cases. The role involves supporting senior case handlers and working across a wide range of high-value matters. This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker sponsorship.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting fee earners with case management, legal research, record reviews and preparation for court hearings.
• Running a multi-track caseload independently under supervision when required.
• Assisting with instructing Counsel and experts.
• Responding promptly and accurately to correspondence and telephone enquiries from clients and other parties, with or without supervision.
• Ensuring compliance with client service level agreements.
• Achieving set financial and chargeable targets.
• Supporting the team’s business development activities.

Salary/Stipend
