Details of the Job/Internship
Mammoet India is hiring an In-House Paralegal with at least 2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, organize, and maintain legal and corporate documents.
- Assist legal counsel with board and shareholder meetings.
- Maintain legal files and ensure accessibility and accuracy.
- Liaise with internal and external legal stakeholders.
- Perform administrative legal tasks including scanning and filing.
- Support corporate secretarial functions including notarization, apostille, and statutory filings.
- Monitor compliance across jurisdictions in the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
- Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and other external entities.
- Support in corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions.
Eligibility
- Qualification in Paralegal Studies, Corporate Secretarial, or related field.
- Paralegal certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal or corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures, corporate law, and governance.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and excellent organizational skills.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
