Details of the Job/Internship
Alta Real Estate Development is hiring a Paralegal with 3–5 years of experience to join its legal team in Dubai. The role involves supporting the General Counsel in contract drafting, compliance management, KYC processes, and real estate legal documentation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and real estate contracts under supervision of the General Counsel.
- Create standard contract templates and support business units with documentation.
- Conduct KYC and AML checks, perform enhanced due diligence, and maintain compliance processes.
- Assist in audits, regulatory reporting, and ethics initiatives.
- Support in preparing SPAs and other agreements for off-plan real estate sales.
- Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external law firms, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain legal records and assist in litigation management.
- Provide administrative and project-related support to the General Counsel.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a common law jurisdiction.
- 3–5 years of experience in the UAE as a paralegal, preferably in real estate, compliance, corporate commercial law, or reputed law firms.
- Strong understanding of UAE laws and regulations.
- Excellent drafting and writing skills in English.
- Familiarity with compliance, AML requirements, and KYC processes.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
