Details of the Job/Internship

Anantech Ventures Private Limited is hiring for the position of Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

Contract Management

• Draft, review, and manage contracts related to procurement, suppliers, logistics, distribution, maintenance, and construction.

Regulatory Compliance

• Support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other steel industry-specific requirements.

Labour & Employment Support

• Assist in employment law matters, union relations, grievances, and labour law compliance.

Litigation Support

• Coordinate with external counsel, manage discovery, maintain litigation calendars, and prepare case materials.

Corporate Governance

• Maintain corporate records, assist with board/shareholder documentation, and support entity management.

Environmental & Safety Compliance

• Collaborate with EHS teams on legal compliance for environmental reporting, permitting, and documentation.

Document Management

• Organize and maintain legal files, records, and databases for audits and quick retrieval.

Legal Research

• Conduct research on industry-specific issues such as tariffs, trade regulations, and steel import/export compliance.

Eligibility

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Paralegal certification preferred (not mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience, ideally in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks in the steel/industrial manufacturing sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.

Salary/Stipend

₹20,000 per month
