Details of the Job/Internship
Bizrights IP Partners LLP is hiring for the position of Paralegal to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- File trademark, patent, and copyright applications via IP India, WIPO, and other relevant portals.
- Monitor critical deadlines for renewals, oppositions, hearings, and office actions.
- Ensure full compliance with IP statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Draft and review legal documents, including POAs, affidavits, undertakings, and forms.
- Prepare legal correspondence and internal case reports.
- Conduct trademark/public searches and basic prior art research.
- Stay updated on changes in IP law, case precedents, and registry procedures.
- Communicate with clients, IP offices, and international associates.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and internal teams to manage caseloads.
Eligibility
- Sound understanding of Indian and international IP systems (e.g., Madrid Protocol, PCT, WIPO).
- Hands-on experience with IP portals (IP India, WIPO, USPTO).
- Strong written communication and legal drafting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PDF tools.
- Sharp attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and work under minimal supervision.
