BuildingBlocks Software Services are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal with a background in law (UG/PG in Law) to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Abstract key information from Lease Agreements into specific templates (Excel or Word).
- Extract critical data from Lease Documents with accuracy.
- Analyze lease data and financial information, including CAM (Common Area Maintenance), Taxes, Insurance, and other Expense Recoveries.
- Calculate rental charges such as base rent, pass-through operating expenses, taxes, and insurance.
- Collaborate effectively in a global team environment while also working independently.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: UG/PG in Law
- Should have minimum 2 years of experience in Lease abstraction.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in analyzing and interpreting leases for different property types
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to the process
- Ability to prepare documentation and procedures such as SOPs and Process Maps when required
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new projects, and manage pressure effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is essential
