Details of the Job/Internship
CaeciLex Global is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal with at least one year of experience working with US law firms. The ideal candidate must be proficient in legal drafting, legal research, client communication, and liaising with medical facilities. This role requires a professional who can work efficiently during the night shift, handling various legal tasks with accuracy and diligence.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and client correspondence.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders professionally.
- Coordinate with medical facilities to obtain medical records and other necessary documents.
- Provide comprehensive paralegal services to support attorneys in ongoing cases.
- Maintain accurate case files and updated legal databases.
- Ensure compliance with US legal standards and procedures.
Eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a paralegal in a US law firm.
- Strong knowledge of legal drafting and legal research.
- Experience with client communication and handling confidential legal matters.
- Familiarity with medical record requests and liaising with healthcare providers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Comfortable working during the night shift (7:00 PM - 4:00 AM IST).
- Experience with US litigation procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).
- Paralegal certification is a plus.
