Hitachi Energy is hiring a Paralegal to join its Legal Operations Team. In this role, you will support the Global Legal & Integrity Team by managing documents, assisting with contracts, and supporting integrity-related audits and investigations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist lawyers in drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts, including NDAs, Sales Contracts, and GTCs.
- Edit, proofread, and summarize key provisions from contracts.
- Draft legal correspondence and support document preparation with high quality.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks and opportunities.
- Support Integrity functions, including audit and investigations by taking interview notes and preparing statements.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of legal and integrity services.
- Uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity in all tasks.
Eligibility
- LL.B. / B.L. from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, CLM, and compliance platforms preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft O365, including MS Lists, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Good understanding of contracts and legal terminology.
