Details of the Job/Internship
They are seeking an experienced Paralegal with legal training to support their corporate law functions. This role will be based in their Farnborough, UK office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the corporate legal team with entity management, board meetings, and corporate governance matters, maintaining corporate records, minute books, and statutory registers.
- Assist in preparing board materials, resolutions, and corporate filings, coordinating with external counsel on various corporate and commercial matters.
- Support the legal team in due diligence processes for corporate transactions and assist with regulatory filings and compliance matters.
- Maintain legal department documentation, including policies and procedures and provide administrative support for the legal department.
- Support our legal entities in various jurisdictions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate or legal studies degree.
- 3-5 years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably in an international environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate law and governance practices.
- Experience with entity management systems.
- Knowledge of corporate filing requirements and procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English. Other European languages a strong plus.
