Details of the Job/Internship
K&S Partners is hiring a Trademark Paralegal with 2–6 years of experience to join their office in Gurgaon, Haryana.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage trademark prosecution and opposition workflows under the Trademarks Rules, 2017.
- Support attorneys in conducting comprehensive trademark availability and clearance searches.
- Prepare and draft "Affidavits of Use" and other critical evidentiary documents for the Registry.
- Handle independent correspondence with global and domestic clients regarding case updates and deadlines.
- Draft and file applications, oppositions, and rectification petitions accurately.
- Monitor the Trademarks Office journals and alerts to identify potential infringements or deadlines.
- Ensure all procedural requirements are met for hearings and office actions.
Eligibility
- 2–6 years of experience in trademark prosecution and oppositions.
- Deep knowledge of the Trademarks Rules, 2017 and the working patterns of the Trademarks Office.
- Proven ability to prepare legal affidavits and support complex IP searches.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional client interaction.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple IP portfolios simultaneously.
- Previous experience in a leading IP law firm is highly preferred.
